How to make Foodzy cupcakes

Didn’t manage to grab one of our Foodzy Cupcakes at The Next Web conference 2 weeks ago? Here’s how to make ‘em at home:

Finishing touches
Mix 500 grams of cupcake flower with 250 grams of butter and 5 eggs. Poor the dough in small cupcake cups and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes until nice and golden.
After your cupcakes are all cooled down, it’s time to start making the meringue-butter cream that goes on top. Mix 3 egg whites with 150 grams of sugar. Heat au-bain-marie to make sure the sugar melts. Mix for another 10 minutes until your meringue foam is nice and firm.
Now add 300 grams of butter, one small piece at a time. After another 10 minutes, you should have a delicious cream mix. Add colourants for any desired colour. Use a piping bag to put the cream on top of the cupcakes.
Only 3 bits if you make the small ones. ;) Enjoy!
