When we launched Foodzy we tried to create an icon for every main food category. It didn’t take long before we realized we needed to add a few more categories here and there, but up untill now they didn’t get there own lovely icon. 

That’s why today we’re really excited to announce 19 new icons on Foodzy! We have added a lucious set of chocolate pralines, a sandwich, popcorn, toast & crackers, cream and a variety altered icons for different types of meat, cheese, candy, dessert, snacks, etc.  

We’ve also added 2 new types to the ‘Beverages’ category, which will enable you to qualify a wine you’re adding as either ‘white’ ‘red’ or ‘rose’. Additionally, by popular demand ‘Lamb’ was added to the meat section and in ‘Eggs & Cheese’ you can now also add Italian and Spanish cheeses. 

However there is no need to add all of your local cheeses again, we will try to adjust all excisting wines, cheeses and lamb products on our side in the following days. If you do happen to notice a product that isn’t in the right category yet, just flag it on its product page!
